Salesforce Saturday started in Austin, Tx in March of 2015.
It was created as a way for the community to dedicate one day out of the week to growing their Salesforce Skill set in some way. The Salesforce platform is a very powerful tool, and there is so much happening with it that you can’t often learn all the fun stuff on your company’s production instance! Or you shouldn’t anyway So this was a way to learn all of the fun stuff in our own developer sandboxes that we couldn’t do during the week!
So now, we spend Saturdays “Learning ALL things Salesforce for our own personal growth on Saturdays! Work at your own pace on
whatever helps you Earn Trailhead Badges, Get Certified, Learn Code or Develop your Career!”
SalesforceSaturday events in New Delhi has helped me gain better insight about Salesforce Products and network with other like-minded individuals. I look forward to these events every Saturday.
I get the chance to be a mentor, student, and collaborator with folks from all different SF skill levels and industries. The open format of the meetings allows for the flexibility to make the meeting meet the needs of the attendees that day.

I love coming because it gives you a chance to have a regular conversation with others who are working, or have already worked, through similar issues and learning experiences. Online communities are awesome, but there’s no substitute for person-to-person interaction, especially when trying to resolve problems or learn more. The varied experience levels with a group like this are truly an asset!
It has become a means to learn something new and amazing about the Salesforce by the well known persons in the community.
Start of weekend with Salesforce Saturday is as awesome as start of day with Tea or coffee… It keeps refreshing you and your knowledge.

SalesforceSaturday is great because you receive help or offer your expertise to assist others. Also, it’s not after work so some people will stay past the end time because there is no rush to get home and get ready for the next work day.
The less formal nature of Salesforce Saturdays is great to make it whatever you want or need it to be that month. You can just use it as some extra time to dig into Trailhead, get a fresh set of eyes on something you have been troubleshooting, expand your skill set by helping someone else on a project or simply hang out and connect with other Admin.
